Issuance of study visas

• University acceptance letter

• Specifying the place to obtain study visas in the respective country, provided there is an Iranian consulate

* The condition for issuing a visa is that the tracking code in the old.saorg.ir system is unobstructed.

Issuance of academic residence

• University acceptance letter

• Original study visa

Accident insurance policy for foreign nationals (safe life insurance)

• Original passport

• Three pieces of photos

• Completed profile form

• Copy of the first page (specifications) of the passport

• Original and copy of card reader's payment receipt in the amount of 200,000 Rials (2,000,000 Rials for each family member)

• The amount of 50,000 rials in cash

Extension of academic residence

• Confirmation of the university of the place of study

• Original passport

• Two photos

• Completed profile form

• Copy of the first page (specifications) and the last page of the residence stamp of the passport

• Original and copy of card reader's payment receipt in the amount of 200,000 Rials (2,000,000 Rials for each family member)

Exit and return

• Original passport

• Two photos

• Completed profile form

• Copy of the first page (specifications) and the last page of the residence stamp of the passport

• Original and copy of card reader's payment receipt in the amount of 20,000 Rials (400,000 Rials for each family member)

* Note: Exit and return permits are issued a maximum of three times per year of residence.

Definite exit

• Original passport

• Two photos

• Completed profile form

• Copy of the first page (specifications) and the last page of the residence stamp of the passport

• Original and copy of card reader's payment receipt in the amount of 400.000 Rials (400.000 Rials for each family member)

Extension of student visas and student family members (until residence is issued)

• Original visa

• Original passport

• Two photos

• Completed profile form

• Copy of the first page (specifications) and the last page of the entry stamp of the passport

• Original and copy of the card reader's payment receipt in the amount of (500,000 Rials for a one-month visa) or (1,000,000 Rials for a visa of more than one month (up to three months))

* important points:

The presence of the student is mandatory for the residence and exit matters.

All international (non-Iranian) students are required to obtain an academic residence from consular affairs.

The time to go to the consular office in all the above cases is at least fifteen days before the deadline.
