Shiraz University International Campus started operating in February 2004. At first, this unit was set up with only 3 classes and 7 professors, and during 10 years, the total number of students has reached about 1700 people. This unit accepts students for the academic year of 1995 in 76 majors - master's degree and 46 majors - doctoral orientation.

The purpose of setting up the international campus

Shiraz University due to the large number of applicants to enter universities, and the fact that a large number of those interested in studying at the university in graduate school are left behind the doors of the entrance exam. In many cases, these people go to foreign countries with exorbitant expenses and take a lot of capital out of the country and also cause concern for families. For this reason, Shiraz University sought to establish an international unit for these people to study in the country and a prestigious university such as Shiraz University.

 International Campus Professors

All the professors who teach in this unit are professors of Shiraz University. In a few cases, professors from prestigious universities in the country have been used in flight.
